Mike Todd is a high performance coach from Nova Scotia, Canada.  Growing up sailing Lasers/Radials while getting his degree in Kinesiology, he transitioned into coaching 13 years ago by taking a position with the Nova Scotia provincial team.  With this team, he led numerous athletes onto the Canadian Sailing Team and Canadian Olympic Team while achieving a Masters in High Performance coaching from the National Coaching Certification Program.  From there, he transitioned into contract coaching as he began a family back in NS.  He has worked with amazing athletes all over North America and has had the privilege of coaching GCYSA athletes for the past 3 years.

Alana graduated from the College of Charleston in 2006. She was named to the Inter-Collegiate All America team 2004-2006 and was named the Quantum Female College Sailor of the Year.  Alana was part of an Olympic campaign in 2011-2012 in Women’s Match Racing and finished second in the Olympic Trials.  She has coached for US Sailing, Georgetown University, Annapolis Yacht Club and most recently was the Executive Director of Sarasota Youth Sailing.
