And that’s a wrap on the summer! GCYSA sailors have again scattered as most travel home from a long summer of travel and racing. US Youth Champs this year tested sailors with big fleets, flat water, and sometimes predictable, sometimes random shifty breezes. All athletes improved their racing skills and are surely ready for some rest time at home before school gets going again.
A special congratulations goes out to Reese Guerriero who was awarded the sportsmanship trophy for the second year running as voted by his peers and coaches in the I420 fleet.
